DIY VARUN MUDRA AT HOME 

Doing this simple yoga will not only give you a glowing / radiant face but may also help curb pimple and it's growth !! It will also cure itching and heal cracked lips . METHOD OF DOING  THIS FORM OF YOGA



• Sit in a padmasana or sukhasana pose
• Calm your self
• Rest your hands on your lap
• Touch  tip of the little finger / ladies finger with the tip of the thumb so as to form a circle
• Gently press the tip ( do not apply pressure)
• Now start slow deep breathing in and out
• Do it daily

PRECAUTIONS

• Choose a calm place
• Wear loose & comfortable clothes
• Those suffering from severe cold and cough should not do it

INTRODUCTION

It is also called jal wardhak mudra i.e. increases the water elements in our body i.e. hydrates our body evenly within . All the forms of "hastra mudras " can be done while standing , sitting , walking provided your posture should be symetrical and mind & body calmed / relaxed. To get maximum benefits , do it in any  meditational posture.

DIY SURYA MUDRA

DIY SURYA MUDRA AT HOME 


It is a yoga that ignites the Angi/fire , one of the five elements , within us .


• Sit on a mat , not floor
• Sit in a sukhasana or padmasana pose .
• Put your hands on your lap
• Now touch the root of thumb with ring finger and put the thumb over the ring finger , other three fingers should be straight (not bended)
• Do it with both hands , resting them on your lap
• Now start deep slow breathing , in and out
• Focus on your breath

HOW MUCH TO DO PER DAY

• Summer - 8 to 10 mins (max)
• Winter -  20 to 24 mins

Note : this yoga ignites heat inside us , which cuts fat ,so in summers /hot climatic conditions , drink a glass of water before doing it . All other yoga's are done in empty stomach but this you can do  15 mins after eating anything

TIME

  During sunrise, after taking bath
  During sunset , These are generally the best time otherwise you can also do it in any other part of the day .

WHO SHOULD NOT DO
* weak persons / underweight
* having acidity
* having fever
* in case of hand injury
* while doing this yoga during summers , keeps room well ventilated

BENEFITS

This mudra is fat cutter . Do it regularly to reduce your body fat .  It is good for your eyes also . It helps in releasing toxins from our body . If ur suffering from colds / shivers , this yoga is for you as it ignites Agni , due to which our body temperature rises . It may cure thyroid diseases . It improves digestive systems and is also helps fights insomnia !! Cuts the excess  cholestrol level in our blood .

Improves menstural cycle and relieves menstrual pain and effective in menopause problems like irritation etc in women among other benefits. 

  STEPS 



• Sit in a sukhasana or padmasana pose with neck and erect spinal cord.
• Close your eyes , rest your hands on knees and take a few breaths to relax yourself , be comfortable 
• Now make a pose with your fingers as shown in the pic
• Your thumbs should be placed on or close to the navel and index finger should point  downwards 
• Hands should be placed on the laps 
• The shape should be in the form of diamond more or less as shown in the pic
• Sowly inhale a deep breathe and exhale in the same way , concentrate on your breathing 
• Do it daily for 10-15 minutes /day 
• Should be done in a quiet place 

PRECAUTIONS 

Those suffering from depression should do under a yoga guru's guidence .
